Lachlan, who was raised in Melbourne, Australia, found a passion for photography when playing with his father's camera at a young age. Always with a love of sport - both as a participant and fan - he decided to combine his interests after high school and studied Applied Photography at RMIT in Melbourne, with an emphasis on sport.

After graduating, Lachlan worked freelance before taking up a staff position at the Slattery Media Group and later the Australian Football League, where he covered Australian Rules Football, for 8 seasons.

Now residing in the USA, Lachlan continues to follow his passions of sports and photography working freelance in the San Francisco Bay Area.
